8. INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL GUARANTEE

Each notary's professional activity is covered by a public liability insurance policy provided by Mutuelle du Mans Insurance (Independent Professionals Department, 14, boulevard Marie et Alexandre Oyon - 72030 Le Mans Cedex 9) for 200 million euros per claim with no geographical limitation, and beyond that with the Regional Bank for Notarial Guarantee - Paris 1 (Caisse régionale de Garantie des notaires -Paris 1) (12, avenue Victoria, 75001 Paris).

Information regarding the MMA insurance contract may be obtained from the broker "La Sécurité Nouvelle" - 81 rue Taitbout - 75009 Paris - Telephone: 01 53 20 50 50.

9. COMPLAINTS AGAINST A NOTARY

In case of a complaint against one of our notaries that it has not been possible to resolve directly with the Office Notarial Paris République, or in case of an indemnity claim, the claimant should write to the Interdepartmental Chamber of Notaries of Paris, Complaints Department, 12, avenue Victoria, 75001, Paris enclosing a detailed note of the problem and attaching all supporting documentation (Article-4 of Order N°45-2590 of 2 November 1945).

10. APPLICABLE PROFESSIONAL RULES

Notarial activities are regulated by Order N° 45-0117 of 19 December 1945, Decree N° 71-941 of 26 November 1971, Decree N° 71-942 of 26 November 1971, Decree N° 73-1202 of 28 December 1973, Decree N° 78-262 of 8 April 1978, the National Notary Regulations, the Inter-court Notary Regulations and the Regulations of the Paris Company of Notaries.
